When and where do you worship?
Second Baptist Church of Aiken worships at 10:15 am every Sunday! Our church is located at 1151 York Street, NE​, Aiken, SC 29801.
Where do I go when I get there?
When you arrive, our Parking Team will help you locate a parking place. You will find greeters at the front doors who can direct you to the sanctuary and restrooms.
Will I have to dress up?
No, you don't. We encourage people to dress comfortably. For some, that may mean dressing up, but for others it means wearing casual clothes. The New Testament simply instructs us to dress modestly and decently. So, we do not burden people unnecessarily by requiring them to dress up in fancy clothes they do not normally wear. We want everyone to come, be comfortable, and enjoy learning about God together.
Where will my children go during the service?
Children are invited to learn exciting content in a colorful and vibrant location filled with love, new friends, and God’s Word! Come and join our Children’s Ministry! Aligning with the Core Values of our church, we present JAM Children’s Ministry as an environment that is: Christ-centered, Bible-Based, Safe, Nurturing, Creative, Fun, Relational, Servant-minded, and Age Appropriate.
What kind of music do you have?
Our service is a blend of traditional and contemporary worship. We praise God in traditional and contemporary hymns and praise songs, through both instrumental and vocal music.
What about prayer?
We have several prayer warriors in our church that you are welcome to use if there is ever the need. To share a concern or prayer request, simply contact the church office or locate your deacon here.
